How this board works

Can anyone see my prediction before the reveal?

No. Only your headline is visible until . The text stays sealed, including from us on the public site, and every prediction on the board opens at that same moment.

Can I change it after the results come in?

No. Nobody can edit a prediction, and its author can’t delete it. Each one gets a SHA-256 fingerprint the moment it’s sealed, and that fingerprint is recorded in the Bitcoin blockchain through OpenTimestamps. When the board opens, anyone can check that the text matches the fingerprint from before the event.

Do I need an account?
